Does everything have to go wrong?

Last night at 9pm the sink faucet burst and water went everywhere. We ran to Lowes before it closed and got the parts required. J started to pull it apart and let out a big fart, that's when we hit a quagmire. (Sorry for the bad poetry, it just seemed to start and take on a life of it's own!) So we get home and he starts taking everything apart and he can't. Between the rust and the small spaces he's stuck. Add to that the parts that we didn't know we needed and he's back at Lowes right after working at Monster all night.

So adding to my list of 10 MAJOR things going wrong this year.

1. Boiler Blew up (October '08)
2. Roof (April '09)
3. Pepere died (April '09)
4. Flo Died (Jan '09)
5. Washer died (Nov '08)
6. Fridge Died (Nov '08)
7. Washer repair (May '09)
8. Faucet exploded (June '09)
9. Minivan broke down (May '09)
10. Two windows are broken in out picture window and the seals around the glass have crumbled with age.

Hopefully this list will stop at 10, and we'll be done for a year at least!
Resolutions: (So you know it's not all bad)
1. Loan to pay for :(
2. No vacation :( but paid in cash! :) And I got to hang out with my big brother Steve (Don't tell anyone, but he was always my favorite big brother)
3. Funeral held on day of T's b-day party, rescheduled for another day :) Turned out not to be a surprise after all though. :(
4. Funeral not held on any's b-day :)
5. New one is great! :) Credit card debt :(
6. New one is great! :) Credit card debt :(
7. Check did not bounce, though that was a concern :)
8. Hardest plumbing repair so far :(
9. J's parents buy a new car and sell us their old van :) but we have to take over the payments :(
10. No silver lining for this one yet, we haven't even thought about fixing it. J suggested plywood. I said,"Absolutly not!"
