5 weeks

Lady is such a good mom!  She never gets upset when the puppies try to eat her face, lips or ears.  She loves to play with them!  She is so big compared to them, but she is very gentle and they love to play with Mom!

So I will be taking deposit's for anyone interested in Taho or Vader.  I have a perspective buyer for Vader, so if you are interested you must contact me quickly.  The deposit is only 50% down.
Remember, these are AKC registered dogs, with Champion Lines!  The parents are all healthy dogs and so are these puppies!

Two weeks

The puppies started on real food today!  I give all my pets Iams, it's a good quality food, and is made by a toothpaste company, so they spray all their dog and cat food with toothpaste which gives the pets a little brush every time they eat.  So today the puppies got puppy food with a ton of water added to soften it up.  It took longer to soften than I realized.  I am not going to make the puppies go cold turkey from their mother.  They will nurse and have food available as well.  From everything I have read it helps make the puppies into better, more social, less skitsh dogs.

The puppies played with each other for the very first time!  I was peeking in after the puppies were finished eating and one, Clover, wasn't sleeping, it appeared as if she was trying to get comfortable.  But then all of a sudden she bit Vaders paw.  He didn't wake up, barely stirred, but she continued to bite his paw and step on him in an effort to play!  She eventually woke him up and the two played, shakily, as they aren't sure on their feet yet.  They ended up waking up the other two and the four played together.

Here are some updated pictures from yesterday.  It's amazing how big they are!

Puppy Photo's

The puppies are growing so fast!  Pictures make it very difficult to tell how much they have grown, but seeing them everyday makes me wonder how they do it!

They opened their eyes today, not totally open, but you can see their eyes.  Right now they are blueish, they will darken shortly.

The picture I'm posting are over a few days, not just today.  You can see how the first pictures their eyes aren't open yet.

The Silver has her eyes open the most and because of her coloring you can see her eyes the best.

We have given the puppies temporary names.  It makes it easier than trying to call them Puppy 1, 2, 3 or 4.

This guy we call Vader.  When he was born his ears were forward, so he looked a little like Darth Vader.

This little girl we call Clover.  Because she is small and unassuming.

This is Taho.  We just like the name and it seems to fit him well.

And we call this little girl Wren.  Because she chirps like a bird.

She is sleeping with her mouth open!
