Update...

Hey All,

I haven't posted anything in a while, so I figured I may as well post about what I've been up to (because I can't fall asleep). The summer is finally ending, and I go back to school September 2. Over the summer, I won the 2009 Boys State Soccer Tourney, joined a church, held summer soccer practices, went to a waterfall in Blandford, MA, and tried to stay physically active. The church is awesome and I'm glad I joined. The people there are really cool, but my favorite part about it is the missionaries. Those guys are AWESOME!! No one really showed to summer practices, and I did a pretty good job at staying active over the summer, other than the week I was on crutches with a sprained ankle. Climbing the waterfall was fun, too.

Today was the first day of soccer tryouts for the Pathfinder Boys soccer team. The morning was hectic and we ran our butts off! I placed 2nd in the 2-mile run and 4th or 5th in the 1-mile run. I could've placed 1st in both runs, but I stopped to get the kids that I was going to lap for the second time, who were walking, to pick up their feet and keep jogging. I don't want to see anyone fall behind or get left out. We do everything as a TEAM! Which is why I've been selected to lead the team as one of the Varsity Team Captains!! I was so phsyched when Coach Rickson called over Oakham and I and told us we were captains. I've been waiting for this moment since freshman year! The morning practice was all running and conditioning, but it was all worth it. I just couldn't move when I got home :-P. The evening practice was all ballwork and running. It was also the first practice Oakham and I got to lead and direct the team for most of practice. It felt GREAT!! I know we can lead our team to success! This season we are working to win only one game: the finals of the Western Mass Tournament!!! But for now, we still have double-session practices tomorrow and a scrimmage on Saturday, 9am-noon. Which means I won't be able to go to the beach with my church :-/. Ahh well. Sacrifices have to be made in order to hold the role as team captain in my senior year of highschool. It'll all be worth it in the end.

Along with being captain of my highschool varsity team, I am also the assistant coach on the U9 Girls and U12 Boys Palmer Soccer teams. I'm reffing soccer games, too. Reffing is my only income at the moment. I'm going to have to save up every penny in order to buy myself a vehicle. I NEED a car now!! A bike just isn't going to do it anymore (at least not for everything). Once school starts, I'll be out of the house from 5am-8pm. I have the gym in the morning, then school, highschool soccer practice, U9 Girls/U12 Boys practice, then home, Mon-Fri. Then I still have to make time for homework!

Another thing I can't wait for is my Uncle Mike and Aunt Janett are coming up from Louisianna Sept 19-26, which means they'll be here for my birthday on the 21st! They are my favorite family members (aside from Tay, Thomas, Jordan, Bailey and Madison)! All I'm asking for for my birthday is money for a car, and I'm hoping my Uncle can be a big help. My last onroad for driver's ed. is this Tuesday. Then I'll have my license 1-2 weeks later! I can't wait!!

Well, that's an update of my life right now... Life is good. The only part I'm not so thrilled about is I will be booked SOLID from the start of school through November. This should be challenging. Wish me luck!!
