Madison got to help during the magic show! He got to wear a yellow clown hair wig and put ropes into a magic bag. The magician/clown guy is terribly funny, for both adults and kids. He does a great job! All the kids were in stitches, even Taylor had to giggle.
We got to watch the police do their thing with the dogs. We got to see the dogs find pot in a box, a bullet shell and attack an officer, pictured on the left. The dogs were amazing! It's a shame though, after 5-7 years they dogs are either adopted out to the officer, which makes the homeowners insurance unbearably expensive, or the dogs are destroyed.
My favorite thing to do is to watch the horse draw. They are pulling 12,000lbs! They topped out at 12,500. These are the light weights. The heavy weight horses are much larger and pull much heavier weights. It's fun to watch and the kids get to pet these gentle giants between pulls, which they love!
This is Bailey with Bailey. Or Bailey squared. Yeah, that's a cheesy joke. Bailey the bird has a foundation named after her, they offer to let people pet and hold a bird and ask for donations to help support the rescued birds. Taylor stuck with the small birds, but they all bite.
Jordan and Bailey got their face painted. Bailey got a lizard and Jordan got the blue and purple mask shown.
I won a third place for a picture I entered. I had two other pictures entered. One didn't place because I put it into the wrong catagory. The other was placed by a fair person into the wrong catagory. So the second favorite won a third and I'll never know if my favorite would have won if it was in the correct catagory or not. So sad. I don't have them on this computer. So eventually I'll post them. They are on the computer that needs a new network card. Once I get that I'll post them so you can ooohh and aaahh over them!
